(Maitre'D 2002, from Service Pack 9 and later versions of 2002)
You can use the Biometrics device to validate an employee's identity instead
of a password. You will still have to enter your employee number on the
workstation, but when the password is required, touch the Biometrics device
instead of entering your password.
Note: The same will apply when punching in or out with the Time and
Attendance module. You can NOT use Biometrics devices and magnetic cards
for employees on the same system.
P.O.S. Control
This enable this feature, under the C:\Posera\MaitreD\Data directory,
in the Pos??.ini file (you will need to do it for every POS Ex.: Pos01.ini,
Pos02.ini), add the following configuration key and value:
BioValidationMode=True
Note: After modifying the INI file, redo workstation data.
