J2 Boot from Hard Drive

(Maitre'D 2003, from Service Pack 4 and later versions of Maitre'D)
You can enable the IDE channel and allow the terminal to boot from the hard drive instead of the compact flash card.

  1. Reboot the terminal and enter the BIOS by pressing DEL when prompted.

  2. Proceed to Integrated Peripherals

  3. Proceed to On Chip IDE.

  4. Change On Chip IDE Channel 10 to Enable.

  5. Once you make this change press ESC and then F10 and Enter.
