(Maitre'D Millennium, and later versions of Maitre'D)
Posera CVM monitors are fully integrated in Maitre'D, and can be easily
programmed. It also supports on the fly display, showing on the
CVM monitor the item as soon as the next item is selected. Posera CVM
screen can also support remote display.
Steps of setting up a CVM monitor with or without a remote display.

P.O.S. Control / Workstation / Logical Printer
This option allows to program logical printers on different locations
in the restaurant. Logical printers are conceptual (not physical) printers,
which are used to program menus. Example, you can program different logical
printers for Grill, Cold Table, and Desserts with a single physical printer
on a workstation.
The Back-Office separates all orders by logical printers, and prints different
receipts on the physical printer, or shows the order on the kitchen monitor
(CVM). You may also use logical printers to distribute orders to different
locations, and or different kitchen monitors. Example: There are two kitchens
(Dining and To Go), with a CVM monitor in each. In a non-peak period,
the Dining kitchen is closed. The workstations set to logical printer
Kitchen have orders which go to either the Dining or To Go CVM monitors
during peak times, and redirect to the To Go CVM Monitor during non-peak
times. The Redirection Table option, is used to program logical printers
to the physical printer of your choice.
Description
