Cash Deposit Amount Limit

(Maitre'D 2002, and later versions of Maitre'D)

It is possible to force employees to deposit money when a specified amount is reached. The workstation will then cease to accept transactions for that employee unless cash is deposited.

When the threshold amount has been reached, a warning message displays.

The Employee Deposit function allows servers or cashiers to deposit cash only.

The system keeps in record the employee number and the amount deposited by each, and will reflect these on their financial reading.

Two Deposit coupons are printed. The employee puts one in the envelope with the money, and holds on to the other one until handing it in with the final reading and deposit at the end of the day.

Note: The receipt message area can be used for a manager's signature if the envelope is handed to a manager rather then dropped in a safe.
