Custom Data Tracking Wizard
(Maitre'D 2005, and later versions of Maitre'D)
Converter / Tools / Custom Data Tracking
The custom data tracking allows to setup real time data tracking of counters
to be broadcasted to the Maitre'D Databoard. The wizard simplifies the
setup, and thus reduces the programming time of Custom Data Tracking.
It has the ability to add multiple counters in the same operation and
allows selection and modification of previously entered XML tags.
Wizard:
Click this button to add a new real-time data tracking using the Wizard.
Counter Type:
Select the type of counter you want to track. Available choices are Promotion,
Division, Item and Category.
Note: Maitre'D can send Promotions, Divisions or Items in Real Time
and at the End Of Day. It can only send Categories at the End Of Day.
Summaries:
Select the type of tracking you want to use. Available choices are Average,
Maximum, Minimum or Summary.
Functions:
Available choices are by Price or Quantity.
Choices:
Select the promotions,
divisions, items or categories you want to track.
Note: For Item counter types, select the revenue centers you want to
track.
Description:
Enter a description for the data tracking. Optionally, select the Modify button
to edit the XML Tag Name.
Description:
Description for the data tracking.
XML Tag Name:
XML tag that will contain the data tracking. This cannot include spaces
or special characters.
Counter Type:
Type of counter. Available choices are PromotionPrice, PromotionQuantity,
DivisionPrice, DivisionQuantity, ItemPrice, ItemQuantity, CategoryPrice
and CategoryQuantity.
Summary:
Type of tracking. Available choices are Average, Maximum, Minimum or Summary.
Revenue Center:
For Item Counter Types, select the menu you want to track.
Promotion, Division, Item or Category:
Select the Promotion, Division, Item or Category you want to track.
Data Tracking
Real Time:
Enable this option to track Promotions, Divisions or Items.
End of Day:
Enable this option to track Categories.
