Maitre'D supports Biometrics devices (fingerprints) to log servers to
their tables. This is the most secure way your system can be. With this
type of validation, only the employees themselves can access their functions,
as well as tables, except for managers and head servers.

Access
Setup:
Enable this option to give access to the employee (manager or head server),
who will assist employees when first scanning their fingerprints.
Note: In Maitre'D 2002, this option was named Biometrics Setup. You
can NOT use Biometrics devices and magnetic cards for employees on the
same system.
P.O.S. Control / Workstation / Options / Devices
Biometrics Device:
Choose the device type from the drop-down list.
Note: In Maitre'D 2002, this option was in P.O.S. Control / Workstation

At the workstation
In the Manager Menu, touch the Access Setup button.
Note: In Maitre'D 2002, this function was named Biometrics Setup.
Touch the employee button.
Have the employee scan two fingers 4 times to have the Biometrics device
approve these fingerprints.
