Floor Management Interface

(Maitre'D 2005, from Service Pack 4 and later versions of Maitre'D)

Maitre'D can send floor management information to update a third-party external table management application data in real-time.

Note: This interface was moved from the Floor Management module to the Server Control module in Service Pack 4. See Technical Note: 20060418021 for Service Pack 3 settings.

Server Control / View / Options / Table Management

Interface:

Select Generic XML to send table status data to a 3rd party application through an XML file saved in a fixed directory.

-or-

GuestBridge, that provides a table management program that runs on a fixed IP address.

Path:

Type in the path used for exporting data in Generic XML format. Use the folder icon to browse to your shared directory.

URL:

Type in the internet address for exporting the table status data to the GuestBridge application.

Note: To use the GuestBridge interface, you need .Net framework, as found on your Maitre'D installation disk.

Server Control / View / Options / Table Management / Mapping

External Symbol:

Enter the character used by the GuestBridge application for each stage of the meal.

Note: You can not use the same character symbol in different external symbol fields.
