The guest perception of speed of service is largely determined by the timeliness
of all their interaction with the restaurant staff during their dinning
experience. Maitre'D can use the POS to display an accurate status of
all the tables included in the floor plan in real time. With a glance
at the POS station, the server or manager can tell at which course each
table is, providing instantaneous feedback of the guest experience cycle
to improve the response time of the staff. The POS can display the floor
status screen of the floor management module at idle time instead of the
advertisement screen.
Floor Plan Status:
Enable this option to use the floor plan as a Screen Saver on the workstation.
A blinking table on the screen shows that the service is not proceeding
as fast as it should.
