You can modify the way Frequent Diner Points are shown and redeemed. This redemption method can use free Points Items once the sufficient amount of points has been accumulated, in addition to using a discount.
On the workstation, the free Point Items remains unavailable until a Frequent Diner card with enough points is swiped.
When selecting the Frequent Diner, the Points Balance is displayed on the list, instead of the Dollar value balance.
Even after swiping a card with less then the required amount of points, the free Points Item remains unavailable until enough transactions are performed to bring up the point balance.
The points are only added after the check is printed and settled.
