Concord (EFSnet) Gift Cards through GIFTePAY (USA)

(Maitre'D 2003, from Service Pack 8 and later versions of Maitre'D)

You can use Concord Gift Cards under the DSIClientX protocol.

Transactions supported

Note: No reports are available in Maitre'D. They are found on the Concord site, and in the GIFTePay administrator program.

What is needed:

From Posera:

Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows Windows XP Pro (SP2), with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later with 128-bit encryption, as required by NETePay.
• 256 MB of memory
• 1 GB Hard-Disk space
• TCP/IP network
• Internet connection (Dial access that holds an open line will also work due to low bandwidth requirements)

Installing the DSIClientX control

The DSIClientX control is not included in Maitre'D installation. This application is an XML ActiveX client controlled software that sends encrypted payment authorization requests via a local area network or Internet to Datacap's dial and Internet payment servers.

The control is available as a free 5mb self installing executable from http://www.datacapepay.com/
It may be installed before or after Maitre'D and takes just a minute to install (requires a reboot).

DSIClientX Installation:

• Install DSIClientX
• Configure DSIClientX - DSIClientX in file / setup

Note: Do not use the 127.0.0.1 local host loop back address, even if on same computer as Maitre'D. Use the exact address, such as 192.168.100.1

Install GIFTePAy for Concord (EFSnet)

 Get your activation code from Datacap at activate@dcap.com

1. To do so, start GIFTePay , click on Activate. 

2. You will get a screen showing a serial number, a session code and a machine id.

3. Forward that information to activate@dcap.com

4. When you get the answer, enter the code in the ENTER CODE box in setup / setup information.

Note: The remaining information will be supplied by the merchant services provider.

In Maitre'D 2005 SP4 HF13, enable this option to accept partial payment from a Gift Card whose available amount is lower then the invoice's total. In such a case, the card is emptied, and the remaining amount must be closed with another payment type.

Note: In Maitre'D 2003, under the C:\Posera\MaitreD\Data directory, in the GiftCert.ini file, add the following configuration key and value:

In Maitre'D 2005, enable this option to allow for many Gift Card activations before asking for the payment type, to be able to use the same media, such as a pre-authorized Credit Card with Electronic Funds Transfer.

Note: In Maitre'D 2003, to track these folios, add the following configuration key and value in the POS.INI files of all workstations:

MultiGCActivation=False

Note: This removes the ability to track the activated folios in the Back-Office.
