Generic Digital Video Recorder

(Maitre'D 7.04.028.003 and later versions of Maitre'D)

Surveillance systems have been very popular in the quick service restaurant industry and they are also becoming popular in the food service industry in general. Maitre'D now supports Generic Digital Video Recorder systems that have IP addresses to allow viewing the video over the internet. These devices also offer text overlay for each transaction and search capabilities from the data enriched video saved on Hard-Drive. For example, you can look for who did that void for $50.00, and have the system find the transaction and display the image sequence of that transaction.

Note: There is no additional software required from Maitre'D.
