Monitor Output Redirection
(Maitre'D 2002-2003)
With this function, menu items assigned to a monitor can be "REDIRECTED"
to any other monitor in the system.
Normally this function would be used during the times that the restaurant
is not busy and a certain monitor is not being used. When the restaurant
becomes busy again, the items can be directed back to the original monitor.
To use this function: At bump box #1, depress the PARK / STAT button until
the redirection screen is displayed. The current setting for monitor 1
will be displayed (Screen 1 is assigned to Screen 1). To redirect all
items appearing on screen 1 simply enter the number of the screen you
want them to appear on. If you want to leave screen 1alone depress the
RESTORE button. At this point you will see the redirection status for
screen 2, enter the redirection status or RESTORE to leave the setting
alone. Repeat this process for screens 3, 4, and 5.
Note: If your system has only two monitors then the redirection process
will only prompt you for two screens.
After the last monitor redirection was entered the monitors will display
any new orders to the redirected screens. Please note that all screens
that have been redirected will go blank. This is normal. Upon receiving
an order from the registers the screens will be reactivated items.
The CVM3 monitor is available through POSERA in Seattle. Contact is Chris
