Inactivity Override

(Maitre'D 8.00.000.057 and later versions of Maitre'D)

You can specify a different delay per employee configuration before the workstation exits a table left open for too long. If there are items selected but yet to be ordered, the workstation will not go back to the Login screen.

Note: normally, this should not be used in the Hostess configuration, because they need to remain on their floor plan by default.

Enter the number of seconds before the workstation exits any table screen one of these employees has left open for a long period of time, and comes back to the server Login screen. Setting this field to Zero (0) disables this feature.

Note: This supersedes the delay specified in the Inactivity Minutes field of P.O.S. Control / View / Options / Security, but that Inactivity Minutes field must be different then Zero (0) for the Inactivity Override and Inactivity Seconds to come into effect.
