Setup for Intermec Microbar 9730 Decoder

Order in which barcodes need to be scanned

To setup the 9730 scanner you need to scan the following barcodes.

a. Reset all parameters (page 11)

b. Setting to RS-232 (page 24)

c. Setting the Baud Rate to 9600 (page38)

d. Data Bits 8 (page 38)

e. Parity None (page 39)

f. Stop Bits (page 39)

g. Preamble Compose (page 54)

h. ASCII character codes STX (page 165)

i. End selection (page 165)

j. Custom Transmitted (page 59)

k. Carriage Return (page 77)

l. Re-encoding UPC-A (Page 113)

When adding the 9730 Scanner device, you need to select the following options.

Select Serial

Select the serial port of the barcode scanner.

Select Generic
