Workstation Shift Drawer Report

(Maitre'D Millennium, and later versions of Maitre'D)

Close shift

This option closes the current shift and starts the next one. Example: if you are currently working in the shift 2 and you select close shift option under FUNCTION button, shift #2 is recognized as Previous Shift and shift #3 becomes Current Shift.
When a manager closes the current shift report, he must select the workstation from which the shift is over.

Current shift report

This option is available for POS employee from the FUNCTION button and allows the POS employee to generate sales report of the current shift.

Previous shift report

This option is available for POS employee from the FUNCTION button and allows the POS employee to generate sales report for previous shift.
Please note that if your employee function is manager or head server, Current and Previous shift report are not available under your Function button. The Workstation Report under manager function is the option that you must use to generate shift report.

Workstation / Shift / Drawer report

Workstation report option manages:
This report will include all sales of all servers that have been assigned to the workstation that you ask the report for.
To do so:

This chart shows you about different consolidated report that could be generated with the workstation report option. This consolidated report could be generated by ws #, shift # or drawer # and even more. For example, you could ask for a shift #1 report for drawer #1. The selection for this report will be:

Close The Shift:

Enabled this option to allows these employees to end one shift and start another, up to 3.

Workstation Report:

With these reports the user has the ability to look at sales data with flexible criteria. He is able to look at sales by the individual workstation, a particular drawer of that workstation, and if the Close shift option was performed, by a particular shift.

Shift Report:

Shift report is used to separate sales by specific period of time of the day. These sales can be displayed by workstation or cash drawer number. For example, you might want to separate your sales and cash transaction from Lunch to Dinner.
