Back-Office Server Not Responding
On a system with EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer), the back-office server
has stopped responding.
The system does not see the modem anymore.
To solve this problem:
- Verify that the Serial COM Port and Modem are working
properly.
- Reset the Modem.
If the Serial Port or Modem need to be changed, until it's fixed, in Electronic
Fund Transfer / View / Option / disable the port and give the employees
access to media types not using EFT. The system will work, but they will
need to use an old fashioned mechanical credit card machine, and phone
in for the authorization and finalization.
