(Maitre'D 2003, from Service Pack 5 and later versions of Maitre'D)
Some clearing houses do not need Maitre'D to close a batch. You can stop
the Close Batch function from producing an error when such an external
program is running.
Electronic Funds Transfer / View / Options / Operation
Close Internal Batch Only:
Enable this option to stop this error.
Note: When a Batch is closed in Maitre'D, it resets the internal
file ONLY. No batch closing signal is sent to the processor's application.
Note: Starting with Maitre'D 2003 Service Pack 12 and 2005 Service
Pack 4, you do not need to Close the batch in Maitre'D. With earlier version,
you must close the batch daily to avoid getting a huge File144.dat
