(Maitre'D 2005, from Service Pack 4 and later versions of 2005)
A button area functionality allows to display food runner information
directly on the Order screen. This will speed up Fast-Food service as
the food runner is able to view order information directly on the order
screen without having to call the actual food runner screen, thus overlaying
it on the order screen. A maximum of 3 orders (last, second to last or
third to last order) can be displayed by programming 3 button areas on
a particular screen.
Note: A "More" button will appear on the button if all the
items in the order can not be displayed in the button area. Pressing this
button will display the regular Food Runner screen.
Enter 1, 2 or 3 to display the last, second to last or third to last
order on the workstation's Order screen.
Note: Enter 0 to only display a button that brings the 3 column food
runner screen, as described in Technical Note 20051221005
To specify the amount of text displayed before a More button appears
within the Food Runner area, add the following configuration key and value
in the [Miscellaneous] section of the Bo.ini file under the C:\Posera\MaitreD\Data
directory:
FoodRunnerLineNumber=L
where L is the number of lines.
Note: When modifying the Bo.ini, first stop the Server through Server
Control, then exit both the Server Control and P.O.S. Control modules,
modify the Bo.ini Configuration Key and Value, and only then start the
Server again before redoing workstation data.
