Gratuity Distribution

(Maitre'D 2005, from Service Pack 1 and later versions of Maitre'D)

You can print a Gratuity Distribution section on the servers' financial readings to show tip amounts owned to other employees.

P.O.S. Control / View / Options / Gratuity Distribution

Gratuity Distribution:

Enable this option to calculate the tips owned to different other employees.

Enter percentages used to calculate the amounts owned in these fields:

Assistant

This percentage is calculated on the Net Sales, and owned to the buss people.

Host

This percentage is calculated on the Net Sales, and owned to the employees seating guests.

Transfer

This percentage is calculated on the sales transferred from another employee, and owned to that employee, as printed on the reading.

Division

This percentage is calculated on the divisions where the Gratuity Distribution option is enabled, and is owned to the Bartenders.

P.O.S. Control / Revenue Center / Division / Option

You must specify Divisions to use in the calculation of tips owned to the Bartenders.
