P.O.S. Control / Employees / Configuration / Order / Combo Meal
You can control how combo detection operates for each employee configuration.
Use Combo:
Enable this option to activate the detection of combos by comparing the
current selection with combos setup in P.O.S. Control / Revenue Center
/ Combo Meals. If it corresponds to a combo, the employee can suggest
it to the customer.
Auto Apply Combo:
Enable this option to apply detected combos automatically, without asking
for a confirmation.
Multiple Combo Choice:
Enable this option to suggest more then one combo when the selected items
are part of different combos.
Auto Combo Suggestion:
Enable this option to detect a combo only for a sales item with the Main
option enabled in P.O.S. Control / Revenue Center / Combo Meal.
Use Suggestion Screen:
Enable this option to display the possible combos in an area of the Order
Screen. You can touch this area to select the appropriate combo.
Note: You need to setup a Combo Screen Suggestion area in Screen Layout
Setup and/or Preferential Screen Setup.
P.O.S. Control / Revenue Center / Combo Meal
Main Item:
Enable this option to specify which sales item constitutes the main item
of a combo meal, so that only this sales item triggers the combo suggestion.
For example, this option will suggest a Gonzo Combo only when you select
a Hamburger. Selecting only Fries and a Drink does not trigger the combo
suggestion.
Note: You also need to enable both the Use Combo and Auto Combo Suggestion
options in Employees / Configuration / Order / Combo Meal.
The Main Item option is accessible by clicking the MODIFY button.
The Combo Screen Suggestion can be used display the different possible
combo detected with the sales items selected so far in a transaction.
To make this option available, within the Other Commands type, choose
the following Command:
Combo Screen Suggestion
On the workstation, the employee can see the possible combos detected so
far, as well as the number of items missing to complete them, and then
touch the Combo Screen Suggestion area to select a particular combo.
Note: You also need to enable both the Use Combo and Use Suggestion
Screen options in Employees / Configuration / Order / Combo Meal.
