Network Printer

(Maitre'D 2003, and later versions of Maitre'D)

P.O.S. Control / Workstation / Shared Printer

Maitre'D supports Ethernet network IP printers. Network printer can be set with its own IP address and all workstations can print to it.

Note: Do NOT enable this option in mid to high volume locations. Use this feature only in low volume situations, such as a shared printer for checks in a fast-food restaurant that only prints checks on request.
Note: Network printer can not be used if you have any DOS workstations or if you are using an RS-232 and / or NetBIOS network. Also, we do NOT recommend enabling this option if the Use Folder Share For Printing option is also enabled for one of your terminals in P.O.S. Control / Workstation / Options / Advanced
