You can display a Partial Payment that appears after the employee has applied
a small payment on a table for a guest who is leaving, to exit from the
Close screen and later keep ordering new items on that same table for
other guests who have stayed.
Note: Future operations on this invoice will be limited. It will no
longer be possible to perform a void, a transfer, a redistribution, a
split check, a discount, a non-taxable or any other function that could
lower the invoice amount. Therefor, the following functions will be disabled.
On the Order screen: Status, Void, Split, Discounts, and you cannot swipe
an Account Receivable card. On the Payment screen: Discounts, Coupons,
Service, Without Service, Service Override, Gratuity, No Gratuity, Special
Tax, Non-Taxable.
