Make sure that the COM port where the line display is connected is set
properly to give voltage. To do so, remove the base of the workstation
to enable power from the serial port that you are connecting the customer
display to. Open the sliding window and move the jumper for the corresponding
COM port to the top two pins (Move the jumper up by 1 pin). This will
enable power to the display.
Jumpers, with battery on right side
COM 1: far left, middle row
COM 2: right side, middle row (closest to battery)
COM 3: far left, bottom row
COM 4: middle, bottom row
Note: As recommended by the manufacturer, be sure to use pliers, as
it's dangerous to drop these jumpers inside the terminal.
