You can deploy Service Packs automatically from the Databoard to all the restaurants.
Enable this option in each restaurant to allow reception and installation of Service Packs from the Databoard.
The administrator can easily view the progress of the update. Every restaurant has one of the following statuses indicating the progress of the restaurant update.
Status |
Description |
Up to date |
The restaurant is up to date with the latest service pack available for its current version. |
Need Update |
The restaurant is not up to date with the latest service pack available for its current version. An update is recommended. |
Waiting Download |
Databoard is waiting for the restaurant to download a service pack. |
Waiting Confirmation |
The Service Pack has been downloaded but the restaurant has not yet applied the update. When the restaurant has installed the service pack a confirmation is sent to the Databoard and the status is updated. |
Unknown |
The restaurant version is unknown. The new restaurant has never connected to the Databoard, or the restaurant has an older version not compatible service packs deployment. (Maitre'D 2003 or earlier) |
A convivial user interface lets the administrator decide which service pack to install in the restaurants.
Enable this option to perform all service packs updates without user intervention as soon as a new service pack is made available by Posera. The list below then disappears.
Enable each restaurant to be updated.
Select from the drop-down list the service pack to update each restaurant towards.
Select from the calendar the day to perform the update.
Enter a short note that is displayed only in this Edit screen, to let other administrator know details about this restaurant's status.
