Survey Mode

You can print on the check a configurable text prompting the guest to take a phone or internet survey. Each survey printed can include a different Code, for control purposes at the survey desk.

Note: In this example, the customer is also able to pen in a validation code supplied after completing the survey. This code is not validated by the system. It is intended to be used has a visual validation by the restaurant staff at the next visit, if a reward is offered for completing the survey.

To trigger the use of the Survey instead of a regular evaluation sheet, you must add the following configuration key and value in the [Miscellaneous] section of the Bo.ini file under the C:\Posera\MaitreD\Data directory:

SurveyMode=True

Note: When modifying the Bo.ini, first stop the Server through Server Control, then exit both the Server Control and P.O.S. Control modules, modify the Bo.ini Configuration Key and Value, and only then start the Server again before redoing workstation data.

To set the text printed in the Survey section of the check, you must save the following file under the C:\Posera\MaitreD\Data directory:

To print a different control Code on every survey, include the following variable:

The Survey Code uses the format SSSSHHMMDDYTTTT where:

Note: XML variables and tags are case sensitive. After editing these files, you must recreate the workstation data.
