Waste Item:

(Maitre'D 2003, and later versions of Maitre'D)

P.O.S. Control / Employees / Configuration / Functions

By selecting this option, a WASTE ITEM button will appear listed under the FUNCTIONS button. The purpose of this function is void single items, but, if you are using the Inventory Management module, it will not return the item to the inventory.


1. Select the Waste Item option.	2. On the Point-of-Sales' Manager Menu screen, touch the WASTE ITEM button.

3. On the WASTE ITEM screen, touch the WASTED item.	4. On the confirmation screen, touch OK.
